1921 MUSIC GROUP LETS US IN ON HOW THEY PLAN TO TAKE OVER THE TULSA MUSIC SCENE

Oklahoma is more than just country music and cowboy culture. The Midwest state has an emerging Hip Hop presence that 1921 music group is currently trying to take over. Owners of the management label, Dominique Williams and K.E Tha NSR say that there is so much undiscovered talent in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The rap scene is constantly evolving and the talent continues to grow even bigger in other areas of Tulsa. The two Tulsa natives and businessmen are applying all the things they've learned navigating the music industry to provide what their hometown is missing. What started as a venture to push their own music has now become an opportunity to put Oklahoma on and give local artists a team to grow with.

Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the owners of the label, KE and Dom, got their official start in 2017. Prior to, both KE and Dom say that they've always been around music. "We both always been musically inclined, KE playing the drums in church as a kid and present day, Dom uncle always had a studio when he was young so he always had access to play around on the mic," says Dom. The two actually began recording and making music back in 2009, creating their first hit single, "Run Up A Check." Now, 1921 music group has plans to drop their debut label project "The 1921 advance tape", on 11/25, Black Friday. "We want to showcase our artists by giving them the opportunity to be heard while showing that we can find and develop artist ." The first artist on the label @Gang51ejune and is an example of the imprint that 1921 music group wants to have on their city. Outside of showing off talent in Tulsa and the surrounding areas, Dom and KE also want to "show the artist in the city what it looks like to actually get a body of work put together correctly." The importance of staying authentic to the Oklahoma sound is apparent in the whole 1921 brand as each artist on the label's roster is from Tulsa and reps their hometown wholeheartedly.

With influences from bosses like Birdman with Cash Money,Yo Gotti with CMG, Diddy with Bad Boy and other moguls, Dom and KE have their sights set on a joint venture deal with a major label. The group plans on emulating the success of said companies as a label and management. In 2023, the label plans on dropping even more unreleased music to really put Tulsa on the map.
