Quality Control newcomer Bankroll Freddie releases a visual for his gritty street record “Active,” out today. The single appears on Freddie’s most recent album “Big Bank” which debuted to critical praise from XXL, Pitchfork, Hot New Hip Hop, Hip Hop DX, & industry peers alike. Listen HERE.
Directed by DJ Bruce Bruce, the visual showcases Bankroll Freddie in rare form as he takes on the role of a crime boss seeking revenge after being robbed for millions of dollars in jewelry. Staying true to his core fan base and signature sound, Active is a catchy street record that only the real can relate to.
The visual for “Active” comes on the heels of Freddie’s 2021 critically acclaimed album, Big Bank, which features break out single “Pop It” featuring Meg Thee Stallion. Big Bank also boasts features from Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, PnB Rock and more. In January 2021, he released “Add It Up,” an ominous trap banger that celebrated Freddie’s success and showed off his lyrical gifts. Big Bank is currently in stores and available now.
