COI LERAY SHUT DOWN NEW JERSEY AFTER TIK TOK MASH UP SUCCESS
Coi Leray has had an amazing year and continues to prove why she's one of the greatest breakout stars we've seen. The New Jersey-bred female artist has managed to win over the hearts and ears of her fans with the perfect mix of branding and great music. More recently, she dropped another single entitled "Players", after previewing the record on social media while in Miami with friends. Coi Leray's "Players" is sampled from the 1982 Sugarhill (Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five) song "The Message" and features a classic Hip Hop bassline. The snippet was a hit and once the song was released, Tik Tok djs had alot of fun putting their spin on the beat. A trend began with Djs bedding Coi's lyrics over different beats. A "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See x Players" mash up, created by @djsaige had social media in a chokehold, as fans began creating dance videos to the sound. Another remix, made by @djsmallz732 reiterated the lastest Jersey Club trend that has taken over the industry this year. Once Coi Leray joined the challenge, posting a video of her dancing to it as well, it was up!
Just yesterday, Coi Leray headed back to her hometown of New Jersey to shoot a Nimi Hendrix music video to the viral Jersey club remix, bringing out fans, dancers, DJs and other superstars. "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" rapper Busta Rhymes showed love to Coi as the two were seen vibing to the remix. This outburst of support and success is nothing new to Coi Leray. Just last year, Coi was running Tik Tok with viral singles like "No More Parties and Prr featuring Pooh Shiesty. This year, she maintained her success, with other viral hits like "Twinnem", while showing versatility through her singles, "Anxiety" and "Wasted" and even earned herself a Nicki Minaj feature with the song "Blick Blick."
