The emergence of the drill genre in Hip-Hop has called for both creativity and chaos. Artists like Pop Smoke, Kay Flock, Sheff G and more have created lanes for drill artists on the rise, proving that the sound is so much more than the controversy its inspired by. Maee Kenzo hopes to showcase a different side of drill through her versatility and undeniable energy. Songs like this are important as they remind us of the balance needed to bring fans the best music. While the energy of drill is what inspires the music, the promotion of violence should never be encouraged. With many wondering if drill can maintain its essence without the extra negativity, "Bussin" is a perfect example of just that.
