THE LATE RAPPER LIL KEED’S ESTATE ANNOUNCES DATE FOR HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED POSTHUMOUS ALBUM

Rapper Lil Keed’s estate announces Friday March 17, 2023 as the release date for the highly anticipated album Keed Talk To ‘Em 2. In addition, the album track list was announced via Instagram alongside a new single and music video for “Self Employed” — Watch Here. The album houses collaborations from the likes of NAV, Big Sean, Trippie Redd, KayCyy, and Fridayy. The album also features Young Stoner Life Records’ very own Young Thug, Dolly White, and Karlae along with Keed’s blood brothers Lil Gotit and StickBaby. As the cherry on top, Keed Talk To ‘Em 2 is being executive produced by Keed’s #1 fan and biggest inspiration — his daughter Naychur Render. The simplistic visual for “Self Employed” released today is another snapshot of Keed's final moments and shows him in his element, in his city surrounded by family and friends.

The album was first announced in a personal note from Keed's mother Tonnie Woods-Reed. In the statement, his mother explains that Keed was hard at work on the album right before his passing and the release serves as the cementing of his legacy. The first single from the album was the sentimental “Long Way To Go” in which the music video featured cameos from Keed’s daughter, mother, brothers, collaborators, and many more. The scenic video takes place against the backdrop of Keed's hometown of Atlanta and includes footage of some of Keed’s best moments and last moments. “Long Way To Go” is packed with Keed’s signature melodies, playful pitches, and bouncy delivery and kicked off the journey to Keed Talk To ‘Em 2.

Lil Keed, formally known as Raqhid Render, was one of hip-hop’s rising stars. Born in Atlanta, GA and signed to GRAMMY-award winning artist Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records, the rapper broke out onto the scene with his RIAA-certified hit “Nameless”. Throughout his career he worked alongside some of the genres biggest stars earning cosigns from the likes of Drake, Brandy, Lil Baby and many more. His resume boasts viral hits such as “Snake” and “HBS” and in 2020 XXL inducted him as member of their highly coveted “Freshman Class”. His impact was documented by the likes of Rolling Stone who dubbed him a “breakout artist”.
