UNCLE MURDA'S ANNUAL ROAST SESSION IS BACK

Updated: Jan 7

Uncle Murda is back to spread holiday cheer the only way he knows how - with a healthy dose of snark and shade. His annual "Rap Up" has become a tradition, recapping the year's most salacious hip hop headlines and calling out anyone in his crosshairs. This year proves no different as Murda aims his venom at usual suspects like Trick Daddy but also takes some surprise shots at DJ Envy. You didn't think you'd escape 2023 without Uncle Murda roasting someone, now did you? Sit back and enjoy as Murda gleefully stirs the pot in his signature style. The verbal haymakers are about to start flying, and no one is safe.

Uncle Murda Takes Aim at Kodak Black, Trick Daddy and DJ Envy in Latest "Rap Up"

The Rap Up king is back and sharper than ever. This year, Uncle Murda takes aim at some easy targets, starting with everyone’s favorite hot mess, Kodak Black. According to Murda, Kodak’s appearance on Drink Champs was “looking bad” and his explanation for working with snitch 9 “wasn’t funny.” And that whole swallowing coke thing? Proof Kodak’s really just an “addict.”

After recapping the year’s hottest gossip, from 6ix9ine’s beatdown at the gym to Ashanti’s maybe-baby with Nelly, Murda sets his sights on Trick Daddy. Calling out Trick’s “reckless” trash talk, Murda reminds him that “punch in the face” he took was worse than anything on Rap Up.

No one’s safe from Murda’s venom, not even good ol’ Usher and Breezy’s “scuffle,” Draymond Green’s right hook, or Kanye’s weird boat ...activities.

But Murda saves his sharpest bars for DJ Envy. Turns out Envy was promoting some shady real estate deals which “turned out to be a Ponzi scheme.” And while Envy may have been “innocent,” his “piece of s***” partner was selling the “same property to different people.” Murda’s no real estate whiz, but even he knows “that’s illegal.”

With his latest Rap Up, Murda’s proved once again why he’s the king of recap. From Kodak’s sad addiction to Trick Daddy’s beatdown, no scandal’s too petty or bizarre for Murda to skewer. And after this year’s hot mess of drama, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Long live the Rap Up king!

Murda saves some of his harshest words for DJ Envy, accusing him of promoting a “Ponzi scheme” real estate scam that “turned out to be fake.” Though Envy may have been “innocent,” Murda says he’s “guilty by association.” Murda calls Envy’s former business partner Cesar Pina a “little fat n-gga” and “piece of shit” who was “selling the same property to different people.” According to Murda, “that’s illegal.”

With bars aimed at André 3000, Diddy, and more, Murda’s “Rap Up” series is sure to ruffle some feathers. But that’s exactly why we tune in - for the controversy. The rap game’s resident roaster has done it again.

All in all, between the messiness, the drama, the cringe and the shade, 2022 kept us thoroughly entertained. The crazy train in Hip Hop just keeps rolling, and all we can do is grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride! What a wild, wild year.
